That music store sounds really cool. 2,500 sq. ft. is quite a decent size! "The company specializes in string instruments and works with about 38 teachers, offering lessons to about 500 students in Kalamazoo and Northville, Jarski said. The store in Ypsilanti would include eight studios, a recording studio and a small stage, she said." -- http://www.mlive.com/business/annarbornews/index.ssf?/base/business-5/1190991911256740.xml&coll=2 They have been in business for 10 years and have signed a 10 year lease. A good stable business. I'm not really in the market for music instruments though... What I really want to know is what restaurant wants 40% of the ground floor!

I'm curious about that vast restaurant, too.

I think a big music store is cool, too--though I really don't want anything to impinge on Dennis's Music Store in Depot Town. That, I'm a bit trepidatious about.

Oopsie, I just noticed, over on Ypsi News, that Steve posted this story some days ago--somehow I missed that. Sorry!

So late, but wow, what I love is the offer of music lessons. I wonder if they will have advice on who to contact to get one's piano tuned. I'm still looking for someone local to do it.

Lisa: Hm, I'm surprised no one has surfaced yet. Surely in a city of 25,000 (not to mention Belleville, maybe Romulus) there is someone who can tune a piano!
