There's also this ongoing Wystan Stevens event in Ann Arbor:

Forest Hill Cemetery Tour. Every Sunday, September 30-November 11. Ann Arbors unofficial city historian, Wystan Stevens, has been leading his popular interpretive tour of Ann Arbors oldest cemetery for over 25 years. Stevens is an enchanting, wryly humorous raconteur, and he says that the fall is the prettiest time of year for the graveyard. If you havent been led around Forest Hill by Wystan, you dont really know Ann Arbor! Canceled in case of heavy rain. 2-5 p.m.. meet inside the gate on Observatory, just north of Geddes. $10 (children with adult, free) by advance reservation and at the gate. 662-5438.

I have wanted to do the cemetery tour for years -- anyone want to pick a Sunday and form an Ypsi contingent? The only Sunday I can't do it is 11/10 d/t a work commitment.

But I will definitely go to the talk at the Whittaker Rd Library -- cool!!! I was brought up on cemetery walks, exploring outdoors while my mom visited antique shops in the little towns of South Jersey.

Yay! Ypsi contingent! I'd love to go with you! Mr. P would likely enjoy it, too, and would probably be happy to drive. Any Sunday is fine with me (Oct. 28, Nov. 4, Nov. 11). It'd be a hoot. Ypsi contingent!

I love looking at cemeteries, too. I guess I've visited most of the little cemeteries in the county. Always enjoyable, and moving.

The library talk is a must, yep!
