Ypsidixit - 2007-09-24 08:38:33 Such a person, in addition to all the basic stuff like sterling ethics and phone, person, and computer and Internet skills, should also know everyone in town, should know something about community events in general--hm, about 10 years' work in the general "events" field would be about right--should be overflowing with endless creative ideas and new directions, should have experience in organizing successful and fun community events out of thin air on a moment's notice, should have a connection to (and from) the community, should be resourceful and inventive in creating community fun on a small or nonexistent budget, and should love this sort of work.
