That juicy young pigeon was taking its chances dropping by during the Food Stamp Challenge, I tell you.

(Benevolently) Not to worry, kind readers. Slavering carnivorous instincts notwithstanding, I merely petted it on its snowy little head, rubber-banded on its leg a tiny note saying we'd be at the historical ghost walk, and let it go.

Peep! What Ypsidixit didn't say is that Mr. Mann is also starting a new blog. Scrawk! I'll get the URL out of him tomorrow and hunt-and-peck it here. Bawk!

Dear Ypsidixit, thank you for not eating my pigeon, and sending him back to me. He said you were very nice to him, and even gave him a snack. He also made some new friends at your bird feeder. For the walking tour, I hope to scare up a few more ghosts, and maybe a few other tales as well.

James, you are most welcome for my not eating Pete.

Yes, I gave him a couple of sunflower seeds from the sunflowers. Yep, he was quite the popular raconteur (not unlike his owner) at the birdfeeder. He had the Baltimore Orioles in stitches! Even the grumpy blue jay was amused. Looking forward to the talk!
