I'm very surprised that AATA doesn't have a tow truck given the size of their bus fleet. The public school district where I grew up, which I am certain has a much smaller fleet, owns a tow truck capable of towing a bus.

Mr. C., I was surprised by that, too. What happens if they blow a head gasket or something, assuming diesels have head gaskets? You can't just cone off the whole darn street for a few hours while you do some major repair.

And if you pro-rate it I imagine it's cheaper to own one house tow truck than to call a towing company.

I assume everyone here is aware of the service changes that will begin next Sunday:

Re: New route "2X": Putting an "X" after the number makes the route sound exciting and mysterious, almost like a carnival ride. Who knows WHAT will happen when you board the new! the exciting! 2X!!!
